The truth is though that finding the middle ground between pushover and pain in the ass is hard as shit. Any woman in a relationship will tell you that on any given day her man will do at least one thing that annoys the entire shit out of her. And deciding whether or not to speak on it requires an algorithm more complicated than anything Google can come up with.

The modern woman's urge to be independent just brings us further and further apart from our men. As she so eloquently puts it "We pee sitting down for a reason. He stands up for a reason. Know your position".

But as lucky as I am to have a great dad, I can't help but wonder sometimes how my dad's awesomeness affects me. We all know that women with fucked up fathers often grow up to be a little messed up themselves, but what about women with good dads? If having a father who was never there makes us grow up unable to count on anyone, what does having a father who is always there do?

Being that I effortlessly stride the line between girl and dude - adopting only the best characteristics of both with none of the bad habits - I'm not really guilty of any of the sayings in any of these “shit ___ says” videos. But they did get me thinking about the kind of (dumb) shit girls say all the time. And since bloggers are nothing if not unoriginal, I figured I'd make my own list of shit girls say.

I don't know if it's just way too many stupid bitches out there, or women are walking around not realizing they're stupid bitches. But no matter because today I'm doing my part to right this wrong. If one willfully stupid bitch reads this post and is shamed into doing better, my job is done. And if one oblivious stupid bitch reads this and realizes that she is in fact a stupid bitch, I'll have earned my wings. If you're wondering whether you might be a stupid bitch, read on.

I believe that there is one thing that is crossing the line. One thing that takes a woman from being frustrated and angry to being a deranged harridan. One thing that ensures that no productive resolution is coming to whatever disagreement she's currently having wither her man. One a woman should never, ever, ever say to a man, in anger or otherwise.

Don't give up hope, my dear men. There is a way for you to make your girl happy and it isn't even difficult. It won't cure all the problems in your relationship and it won't make her stop getting mad about the toilet seat. It won't last forever and you will have to do it repeatedly but do you want to know the one thing you can do (that you're probably not doing enough) that will make your girl happy?

If, like me, you are a frequent consumer of dating and relationship blogs, you've probably come across many a discussion about crazy women. It seems that men these days are so afraid of crazy women that they will go to all kinds of lengths to avoid them.

If you're a longtime or dedicated reader of mine you know that I am a throwback girl. I'm that handwash your dirty draws, Cater to You is my theme song, wake up at 3:00am to cook for you, Stepford Wife kinda chick who also knows how to get freaky in the bedroom. Remember a few years back when that excerpt from a 1950's Home Ec textbook about how to keep your husband happy was circling the internets? I'm the only woman you know who read that and said, "f*cking right!".
