But there is one good thing that has come from my sleep deprivation - in the midst of thinking that a toothache is without a doubt the worst thing ever; my mind wandered over to other horrible experiences that make me seriously consider flinging myself off my balcony. And whammo! A post topic!

How important is our score on the attractiveness scale? Is life as an 8 really any better than life as a 6? Or as a 4?

After years and years of being chronically dizzy, I've come up with a few strategies that go a long way to helping me stay on top of most of my shit. And since I know I'm not the only one out there with the curse of the scatterbrain, I thought it was only right that I share them with all of you.

Let me just say this for the record. I know we're not supposed to question God. I know that He is beyond comprehension and He has a reason and a purpose for everything and I'm supposed to just have faith in Him and not ask why. And if you know me in real life you know I'm pretty awesome at that most of the time. But I have just this one tiny question that I just have to ask Him.

I find judgey tweets so incredibly tiresome. I really do. It's just so easy for some people to get on their high horse when they're behind a keyboard and no one can see what they do. But if their actions were being scrutinized, would they really come out a winner? I doubt it.

In the last two years I've taken more pleasure trips than I've taken in my entire adulthood. And I've only been on like 4. And while I won't say that I've learned to love travelling and appreciate broadening my horizons, I will say that it's not as horrific as I previously thought it was. And because I've learned to not detest travelling, my pie in the sky list of travel destinations has come to seem a lot less lofty. And since I like nothing more than sharing my randomness with you, I thought I'd share with you some of the random ass places I'd like to visit (or re-visit) in the near future.

The purpose of the theme song as I understand it is to bolster you when you're feeling down or shy or insecure or something. You hear it in your head and it gives you the extra little pep in your step you need to get through whatever your latest crisis is. It's like your own personal cheering squad. In your head. Sounds a little trite I suppose, but hey, whatever works right?

Under normal circumstances, I'm a watch no face kinda girl. I'm not one to covet what anyone else has because I have no idea what they did to get it. But ever since I got my little workout groove on I've had a serious case of body envy. Despite the fact that it's utterly ridiculous for a normal person (well, kinda normal) to try to achieve the fitness results of celebrities who have all the time and resources in the world at their disposal, there are just some women whose bodies I would like to snatch and invade.

Like my girl Shonnerz always tells me, I am a mess. Not in the scandalous way, but I'm a total scatterbrain. My home and office are in a constant state of barely-controlled chaos, and my method of keeping track of important things basically boils down to "put it somewhere and hope I find it later".

As you guys already know, I stay losing by being Canadian. They do not give out condoms on the subway here, we don't have Pandora, and our butter pales in comparison to yours. It's no kinda life, let me tell you. But the single biggest way in which being Black and Canadian sucks is this: we don't have Greek Life here.

So it's a banner week over at casa maxfab and do you guys know why? Because we are celebrating six full months of Max working out regularly!
