So thanks to you – best readers ever – I topped what I did last year and am nominated for four Black Weblog Awards! You guys fucking rock. Now you know what to do right? Head over here to get instructions and whatnot and help me bring it home this year.

So I am super super excited about this week’s Any 10 on Tuesday. And yes I know I say that every week and yes I mean it every week. But this one is special because it’s someone I’ve wanted (pause?) for a long time and finally grew the stones to invite her. Today we have the lovely and talented (and tall!) @Sowhatiff also known as Miss Jenkins. Formerly of Three Ways to Take It, now holding court at Rewriting Herstory, Miss Jenkins has been one of my favourite bloggers from the moment I’ve discovered her; mainly because she’s a dope writer but also because of her mysterioso vibe. But today we get a little glimpse of the real Miss Jenkins. Hope you enjoy.

Describe yourself in three sentences or less.
I’m silly, often absent-minded, and too thoughtful about little things. I love writing and wish I could do more of it. I guess I’m also immature because I can find sexual references in just about anything.

1. Is there something about your life or lifestyle that makes your perspective on dating/relationships unique?

I’m pretty introspective and try to read between the lines of my own story, and the stories people tell me. Plus I’ve had and observed some pretty interesting (read: crazy) relationships. Add in jacked up family issues and I have perspective for days…

3. Thong or boyshorts?

Thong in the freakum dress, boyshorts around the house.

4. Could you be in a relationship that is not monogamous? Why or why not?

Hell no. I’m too selfish for that. Why not just call that FWB and keep it moving?

5. True or false: it is rude for a man not to call the woman the day after he slams for the first time.

False-ish. Before and after the pumps go down, you can probably tell if he’s the “hey, I had a good time last night” kinda guy or the “I won’t text her until I want more” type dude. Either way, you probably saw it coming. Can’t be mad when your expectations become reality, no matter how eff’d up it seems.

10. Blow job or hand job?

Hand jobs are for teenagers. We grown.

14. What is the most sensitive spot on your body?

The back of my neck. When touched the right way, I lose all good sense and inhibition.

17. What’s your fatal flaw in relationships?

Being too emotionally distant. I’ve been called cold, and told that I think too much and hold back too much. Meh. It’s usually true. I’m working on it, though.

18. If you had a super power what would it be? Why?

I’d want to read minds. Most people hardly ever say what they really think or feel, so reading their minds would make life more entertaining. And it’d give me lots more to write about.

19. What turns you on?

Big, well-defined arms and chests. Makes me feel like he could pick me up and toss me around. In a non-violent way, of course.

29. What are your must-have qualities in a partner?

A great sense of humor, self-confidence, ambition met by action, and a nice chest.
