do you guys remember the part in lovejones where nina and darius go out stepping and come home and nina won't give up the goods? darius says "we already done did it. repeatedly." and she says "i just want to feel like we're saving something for later".


that scene - plus an ongoing joke i have with two of my favourite dirty boys - got me thinking.


in the post-morality age where very few people save their virginity for marriage and people marry much later in life (if at all), by the time we walk down the aisle we've probably taken far more walks down the garden path than we care to mention. we've seen it all and heard it all. will we have done it all too? should we be saving something for that someone special? but what? and for whom?
